Children Education
Sunday Morning:
Our children’s Sunday School ministry is an interactive, fun-filled experience called “Son Quest”. Following a Children’s Moment early in the worship service, children are escorted to their classes in the Education Building (Building A & B) by a shepherd. The class facilitator/leader will bring children (Kindergarten through 5th grade) back to the fellowship patio at the end of the worship service to re-join their parents. Preschoolers, however, will remain in their classroom or on the playground with their teacher until parent’s come for them.

Current Curriculum:
Pre-School Class – For children ages 3 – 5. Current curriculum: Favorite Bible stories with related activities and crafts.
Kindergarten through 3rd Grade Class uses a rotational curriculum from Power XPress! with a different station each week such as art, cooking, science, story, games, or music. This format reinforces the bible lessons for the children in varied and exciting ways. See Christian Education News for more details.
Fourth and Fifth Grade Class also uses an interactive curriculum entitled, “Live Big”, where the kids “hear, see and live their belief in God”. See Christian Education News for more details.
Children’s Choir and Music:
All children through 5th grade are welcome to attend a music time that is held between services in the sanctuary. From 10:20 to 10:40, children learn new songs and will have opportunities throughout the year to share these with the congregation.
Special Observances:
On the first Sunday of each month, when Communion (or the Lord’s Supper) is served during worship, the children are brought back to the sanctuary to share this observance with their families. In addition, throughout the year, there are many opportunities, Advent, Christmas, Easter, Vacation Bible School and other events for education, fellowship and multi-generational interaction.
