Mission Statement

Our mission is to be and to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Empowered by God’s Holy Spirit we will:

• worship God by proclaiming and celebrating our faith;
• be a caring, supportive Christian community where all people feel welcome;
• nurture all ages and stages in personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ;
• reach out to invite others to join us in Christian fellowship;
• extend God’s love into the communities near us and into those far away;
• support our church and our congregation with our prayers, our presence, our gifts, and our service.

Missions

We minister to the needs of people in different ways:

• Monthly food drive for local Food Bank
• Working relationship with Tucson Metropolitan Ministries (TMM)
• Volunteering with Catalina Community Services
• Special team assists the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) by collecting and delivering specified items to the Sager-Brown depot in Baldwin, Louisiana http://gbgm-umc.org/umcor/sagerbrown/
• Mission work in Aqua Prieta, Mexico
• 14% of our offerings go to help others
