I will not be “teaching – only facilitating. We will study and share together – verse by verse and chapter by chapter. The purpose is to “know Jesus Christ more clearly, love Him more dearly, and follow Him more nearly.”
Why did Jesus happen when he happened? How did it happen that the Baptism movement of John and the Kingdom movement of Jesus came together to so strongly influence the world of the eastern Mediterranean? Why the tiny villages around the lake? Why the confrontations in Jerusalem?
‘First Light’ provides an opportunity to closely examine Jesus’ ministry and to discuss the core of his message, the critical words and acts that caught the attention of both Roman and Jewish authorities, resulting in Jesus’ execution. Come and explore the path to the Kingdom, beginning October 27th at 3:30 PM.
